Thank you for joining DAUK
Thank you for becoming a member of The Doctors’ Association UK, a campaigning and lobbying organisation that seeks to speak up on issues that matter to UK doctors, and the wider NHS as a whole.
With your support, we have already:
Secured a dialogue with Charlie Massey, Chief Executive of the GMC, regarding the way forward after the Bawa-Garba case
Contributed to the Norman Williams review on Gross Negligence Manslaughter, the GMC review of Gross Negligence Manslaughter and Culpable Homicide, and the consultation on the Health Service Safety Investigations Bill
Led a successful campaign for a change in government policy on Tier 2 visa caps for doctors
Developed the Learn Not Blame campaign, which will be formally launched in Parliament in November with the support of Dr Philippa Whitford MP.
Your membership fees mean that we can take forward our exciting plans for the Learn Not Blame movement and other campaigns on issues that matter to UK doctors, as well as building The Doctors’ Association UK into a stronger organisation.
Full members will be able to attend the Annual General Meeting and have full voting rights, including the right to vote for the Chair and members of the Committee.
You can find a copy of our constitution here.
Once again, thank you for your support. Joining us today is the first step towards YOU being a part of the change that the NHS desperately needs.
Dr Samantha Batt-Rawden
Chair, The Doctors’ Association UK
