Dr Jenny Vaughan of the Doctors Association UK spoke to CNN News earlier today regarding the availability of testing for NHS workers in the UK, and the issue of doctors being prevented from speaking out about shortages of PPE in the workplace.
“You have to ensure all healthcare workers can speak out because that is the only way you can get supplies to the frontline. So it’s about making sure that culture is right”.
She added “We have recently launched an app which puts the power in doctors and nurses hands where they can report shortages. We have also partnered up with ‘Lets beat Covid’ who are fundraising and trying to fill the gaps of government PPE supplies”.
